Dr. Brackney Appointed as Fellow at TSE

This year ADC's own Bill Brackney received the appointment of Fellow at the Institute for Baptist Studies of the Theological Seminary Elstal. This appointment is in recognition of Dr. Brackney's outstanding research in Baptist studies. Congratulations Dr. Brackney!

 

Fellows Program

of the Institute for Baptist Studies of the Theological Seminary Elstal

The Fellows Program of the Institute for Baptist Studies of the Theological Seminary Elstal promotes national and international cooperations between faculty members of the Theological Seminary Elstal, and researchers of other institutions, in research projects on the history of Protestant Nonconformity and of the Baptist movements, an in research projects on Baptist theology in an ecumenical context.

The directors of the institute for Bapstist Studies can appoint, with the approval of the faculty of the Theological Seminary Elstal, up to six faculty members of other universities or seminaries, or excellent researchers of other institutions, as Fellows of the institute for a term of five years. After the five years term, the appointment can be repeated.

By accepting the appointment, the Fellow recognizes the statutes of the Theological Seminary Elstal. During her or his tenure, the Fellow usually carries out a joint research project together with a faculty member of the Theological Seminary Elstal. Fellows can teach classes in the BA-, MA-, and other programs of the Theological Seminary Elstal.
